Who Am I?

Hi Bloggers, I would like to start by saying that I had never written in a blog so I am enjoying this experience.I was born on January 5, 2001 in Santiago of Chile, I live with my parents, my two brothers, my sister and my 6 pets and I really enjoy spending time with them. What we do the most together is watch movies, improvise some acting games and sometimes go for a walk in nature. I have always been interested in social issues, for that reason I studied public administration for 2 years, but honestly I never felt fully connected to this profession so after the pandemic I decided to study social work at the university of Chile, and I consider it the best decision of my life, because the focus of this university is close to what has always interested me and I couldn't find in my first university experience. 

In addition to studying, I also really enjoy drawing, painting, playing the ukulele and writing poems. In general I tend to like everything related to art and free expression in a creative way. 😊

Hi Bloggers, in this last blog I would like to talk to you about Lucia Sepúlveda, who was director of the School of Social Work at the University of Chile when it was closed in 1973 by the Military Dictatorship and she was president of the College of Social Workers for two periods, achieving during her administration the recovery of the university rank of our profession.  Personally, I admire her because she collaborated in the defense of human rights at a time when few did so because she put her own life at risk. My favourite piece of technology

Hi Bloggers, if I had to choose my favorite technological device, I think I would choose my cell phone, because I consider it to be very comfortable and easy to use throughout the day, and it also helps me a lot during my daily activities. For example, I use it to study on the subway to take advantage of the hours on the way home, to enjoy my free time watching a movie or listening to music, and lately, I also use it to exercise and keep track of my favorite routines. Without a doubt, when I forget my cell phone at home I feel that my day runs slower since I get used to using the cell phone to facilitate my daily tasks, but it is still not essential, although in the long term, I would notice its absence. I highly recommend having a cell phone, although I believe that nowadays it is difficult to find someone who does not have one, especially because I was born in the age of technology and I grew up feeling close to technological devices, which managed to surprise me more and more. 😃
